…electric, heartbreaking and unforgettable – The Chicago Tribune
for mother’s day treat, Mare took me to watch Othello at the auditorium theatre of roosevelt university in downtown chicago.
we all know the story. the timeless tragedy. Shakespeare’s classic story of passion and jealousy, ambition and betrayal.
the dance – superb! classic and modern movement choreographed by lubovitch. the music – powerful and riveting score by the chicago philharmonic. the costumes – hould-ward’s combine period and modern elements. the décor and lighting – venice of old in a turbulent sea and dusky sky. bravo!
Mare, thank you!
