divine and glorious

yesterday, i came home to a heavenly sight – our crabapple tree is abloom; it’s twigs and branches, sprayed with flowers, dancing with the afternoon breeze.

bald and lifeless in the winter, our crabapple tree is now at its peak rendering the most gorgeous blooms. i cannot escape the oohs and aahs as i savor the beauty it brings. right before my eyes is nature’s display of splendor. divine and glorious.

not for long, however, these white flowers like the magnolias will be divested from their beauty as they fall softly to the ground. so for now, weather permitting, i will keep myself longer in the swing beneath this tree, laden with pearly white blossoms and soak into the beauty of my surrounding praising God for His magnificence.
