this year’s summer has officially ended. the days are getting colder and daylight shorter. some of the leaves are beginning to change colors, a sure sign that autumn is finally here.
summer, albeit short, was great and a lot of fun. though i wish for more warmer days, i am utterly grateful for the many wonderful memories we have created. countless of precious moments frozen in time are now archived. such treasures i can always go back to with great fondness.
last friday, hubby and i packed dinner for mallard lake. it was very comfortable when we arrived but it got colder into the evening. the sunset was quite extraordinary with fiery skies and clouds formation fascinating and interesting. we lingered ‘til dusk savoring the last days of summer.
