thank you, family

i didn’t realize how much i missed my family until i got there. it had been eight years since i last visited. although quite a number of them visit the u.s. often, being with everyone in the philippines was truly one big happy family reunion. when not traveling, we get together almost always centering around food. my favorite food.

there were late nights of bonding galore. we reminisced and shared stories with lots of laughter in between. and the night outs too, were just outright fun. times spent together were simply precious.

i also met with few friends, visited quite a number of places and did an outreach program for children.

three weeks went by fast. though i came back in the cold and mounds of snow, i brought with me the warmth of happy and loving thoughts. my heart is full of joy, packed with fond memories with so many wonderful stories to be shared.

thank you dear family for making our visit unforgettably fun and so meaningful.
