pagudpud

exploring northern philippines brought us to a coastal paradise called hannah’s resort in pagudpud, ilocos norte. pagudpud is the name of a town tucked in the northern part of ilocos region that is gaining popularity for its ivory white sandy beaches and lush rolling grounds. it faces the south china sea and is rolled over mountains, hills, valleys and flatlands.

travelling here in february was pleasant, on the cool side. it was past peak so we had the resort almost to ourselves. contrary to some unfavorable reviews, we were satisfied and happy at hannah’s. we were pampered by helpful and hospitable staff. they offer quite an array of activities including zipline, an exhilarating 1.4 kilometers over water ride. amenities were up to par, the cottages and surroundings clean. service was great and food, albeit pricey, was yummm!

when coming from manila, it’s best to go there by plane. we drove from dagupan but made quite a lot of stops along the way. it’s a beautiful getaway!
