feast for the senses

one of many favorites that is very convenient for spur of the moment activity is a visit to the chicago botanic garden. welcoming high summer this past weekend was a lovely afternoon stroll amidst the beauty and splendor of nature.

the chicago botanic garden is much more than a living plant museum. it is packed with activities for all ages offering an array of interests, events and exhibits. admission is free, just parking fees.

i went crazy taking photographs. so here’s the first of three posts – feast for the senses
