fun foto challenge: roads

it rained most days when we were in warsaw but it didn’t dampen our enthusiasm in exploring this beautiful city. one of its many gems is this charming cobble-stoned street taken in the city’s old town which was painstakingly reconstructed to its original plan after warsaw was completely destroyed during WWII.

What a wonderful old street! … and interesting to learn a little about its history. We still have a few cobbled streets in some of our old towns and cities here in the UK. I love them too πŸ™‚
