laguna beach

spring break brought us to california visiting our daughter and son-in-law and also breaking away from the cold madness in the midwest.  what a wonderful feeling to not wear a jacket outdoors; breathing fresh air and allowing the sun kiss the skin.  the weather was simply gorgeous all the time we were there.  lots of flowers, plenty of sunshine and blue skies.

heisler park in laguna beach is just a short drive and the ocean beckons.  the park is perched on a clifftop above one of the finest beaches.  the views are stunning.  we walked leisurely enjoying the soothing sounds of the waves crashing on the shore as we basked in the warmth of the morning sun.

while hubby was happy soaking up spectacular views, the little big guy and i played at the beach jumping over the waves.  oh what a thrill!  and what a joy for our precious one laughing out loud in excitement as we held hands.

priceless moments in lolaland.
