five photos/five stories #4: port of nice

thank you to Aletta of nowathome who invited me to take part in the five photos, five stories challenge.  here’s my entry for day #4:

charming and picturesque, the port of nice is one of the main harbors along mediterranean sea.  it is easily accessible as it is centrally located right in the city.  many tourist come to nice by sea on their own water craft.  my daughter and i walked from our hotel to the harbor where we took a ferry boat to cannes and st tropez.

often called the queen of the Riviera, nice is the biggest city on france’s cote d’azur.

this challenge is quite simple: “post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. it can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge”.

for this week, i nominate Amy of The Word is a Book to join. no obligation of course; only if you want. 🙂

Such a beautiful shot of the boats all lined up in a single file. Nice looks very neat. Even the buildings are of similar shape and laid out like the boats side by side. Hope you enjoyed the trip 🙂
