my kind of spring

i hope the winter-like spring in my part of the world is over.  after a cold and rainy week, the clouds finally gave way to plenty of sunshine and warm temperature. this past weekend was simply gorgeous, my kind of spring is finally here! the kids were out playing. birds tweeting. daylight is much longer and life springing up everywhere. the peony stalks of reddish tint are sprouting, clematis’ new vines are growing. soon, there’ll be colors in our little garden.  my heart sings!

this exquisite flower greeted me at work this morning…

I was expecting bright sunshine this morning but when I opened the shutters the sky was dark and it was pouring. I’m still hoping it will be a great day so I can go out somewhere.
