mallard lake 2016

hubby and i took our grandson and his bff out to mallard lake yesterday afternoon. we managed to play ball with them but not for long as we ran out of battery. they got bored with us and claimed we were too slow. age, of course, is the big factor but i wonder where these boys get their energy from. their small bodies have super-charged engines we can’t keep up.

after settling down, i went about taking photographs, enjoyed the peace and quiet and went home grateful and relaxed.

happy friday!

  1. Lovely photos, Lola. Yes, those youngsters seem to have endless energy. Imagine that we also used to be like that! 😀

The boys will remember that you took the time to be with them and you got some pretty photos too. Happy weekend!

They get more pronounced as we get older.

Best to let them burn off all that energy themselves, as you take your photos.
I like the large daisies very much.
    Best wishes, Pete.
