cffc: fountains

fuente de los caballos (fountain of the horses) in the platerias square near st. james cathedral in santiago de compostela.  after an early morning mass at the cathedral, our group went about exploring this charming town. after lunch, it was here by the fountain where we rested our tired feet while the town was in siesta. at about 5:30 pm the place came back to life. business as usual, shops reopened, the streets abuzz and the restaurants waited on tourists and locals. we joined the pulse of the town, upbeat and fun. it was like a fiesta!
